BIOGRAPHY
Born in London, Louise Michelle is from the third generation of the Michelle family acting dynasty. Having begun acting as a child, her early stage performances included a number of musical and pantomime roles in which she frequently delighted audiences with her impudent and ingenious parodies. It is a theme on which she has continued to build, recently creating her own lineage of hilarious comedy characters from around the world.
A former student of The National Youth Theatre and Actors Studio and following her return from New York where she studied at the Lee Strasburg Theatre and Film Institute, Louise was immediately asked to appear as Miranda in Shakespeare's The Tempest for Matthew Townshend Productions.
She has also received much acclaim for her stage portrayals of Ophelia in Hamlet, Sarah Kane in Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis and Primrose in the latest adaptation of Henry Fielding’s play Lock Up Your Daughters entitled Ipso Facto, again for Matthew Townshend Productions, giving her the opportunity of working alongside the legendary musical satirist Neil Innes.
Television work includes Trial and Retribution for La Plante Productions, The Fixer for Kudos Productions, both for ITV 1 and CBBC's Tracy Beaker added to which is a vast array of voiceovers and commercials the most recent of which are for the BBC programme Body Farm and the Coca Cola Carry the Torch ad for the Olympic Games 2012.
Her repertoire also includes a number of short films for television the most recent of which is Brahms and Liszt, an alternative comedy with Terry Alderton and Vicki Michelle, directed by the highly acclaimed and Academy Award Nominated, Alexander Jovy.
Louise has recently completed filming on the sparkling new romantic comedy feature film, The Callback Queen, directed by the award winning Graham Cantwell, in which she played Martina Mullins, a bubbly young aspiring actress from Essex and her latest role, that of Frances, a snap-happy, paparazzi photographer in the new Ray Cooney film version of his smash hit Run For Your Wife.
